Creative New Zealand Review
A review of Creative New Zealand’s governing legislation was promised in the National Party’s arts culture and heritage policy in the 2008 election. The Ministry for Culture and Heritage, working with Creative New Zealand, Te Puni Kōkiri and the Ministry of Pacific Island Affairs, carried out the review, as well as targeted consultation with the arts sector.

Call for applications to the 2010/11 round of the Regional Museums Policy
Government has called for applications to the 2010/11 round of the Regional Museums Policy for Capital Construction Projects. The total funds available for possible allocation to new projects in this round will be in the vicinity of $2 million. Applications close at 5:00pm Thursday 1 April, 2010

Historic Places Trust review announced
Preliminary findings of the 2009 review of the New Zealand Historic Places Act will help to focus the Historic Places Trust on its significant regulatory responsibilities while providing opportunities for more effective advocacy in local communities, Arts Culture and Heritage Minister Christopher Finlayson announced today.
